5 To Win is made by one person. This form comes straight to me, and I usually reply within a day or two.

When something is wrong, this helps most: your username, what you expected, what happened instead, and roughly when.

Common questions

I forgot my password.

On the login screen, tap Forgot password. You will need a recovery email already added to the account, under Settings, Add Recovery Email. Without one there is no way to prove the account is yours, so add it before you need it.

The code email never arrived.

Check your junk or spam folder first. That is where it usually is. If it is not there after a few minutes, use the form at the top of this page and include the address you used.

How do I play with someone?

You both create accounts. On the Home screen, search their username, send a friend request, and once they accept you can challenge them. Games are turn based, so you do not both need to be online at the same time.

How do I know it is my turn?

Allow notifications when the game asks. You can change this later under Settings, Notifications, or in iOS Settings under 5 To Win.

What is VIP, and what does it get me?

VIP is a one time unlock, $4.99, bought in the app under Settings. Buy it once and it is yours for good. There is no subscription, there are no coins, and there is nothing else for sale.

It gets you:

• Unlimited games at once. Free accounts can start two at a time.
• The VIP avatar pack.
• A crown beside your name on the leaderboard.
• Your invitations stop counting against your friends. A game you invite someone into is free for them, even if they are on a free account and already at their limit.

What it does not get you is any advantage in a game. The board, the deck, and the rules are identical for everyone.

I also gift VIP licenses to friends and family, so if one arrives without you paying for it, that is why.

What can I do on a free account?

Everything except run more than two of your own games at once. You can play as much as you like, accept any number of invitations, use the leaderboard, chat with friends, and practise against the computer.

How do I delete my account?

Settings, then Delete Account, then type your username to confirm. It erases everything: games, chat, friends, leaderboard record, and the account itself. It cannot be undone.

I found a bug, or a game is stuck.

Use the form at the top of this page. Include your username and what you were doing. If a game is stuck, say which opponent and I can look at it directly.

How is my data handled?

See the privacy policy. Short version: username, an optional recovery email, and your game history. No ads, no tracking, nothing sold.
